Final Exams: State Exam and Master’s Thesis Defense

Students have three opportunities each academic year to complete their State Exam and Master’s Thesis Defense:

    To be eligible for the State Exam and Thesis Defense, students must:

    • Submit their Master’s Thesis by the specified deadline (usually several weeks before the defense).
  • Preparation:
    • The State Exam assesses knowledge gained throughout the programme, with a focus on core and compulsory courses.
    • The Master’s Thesis Defense involves presenting and defending your research before a committee of faculty members, followed by a Q&A session.
