Important information regarding the credit system from the Study and Examination Rules!

1. Total Credits Required for Graduation

  • The total number of credits needed equals 30 × the number of semesters in the standard study period specified in the program’s accreditation.

2. Minimum Control Credits Per Semester

  • You must have at least 20 × the number of semesters in which your studies were not interrupted.

3. First Semester Requirement

  • By the end of the first semester, you must have at least 9 control credits.
  • Failure to meet this results in the termination of studies by the Dean.

4. Credit Vouchers Withdrawal for Insufficient Credits

  • If you fail to meet the required credits (Paragraph 2):
    • Credit vouchers will be withdrawn equal to the number of missing credits.
    • However, the withdrawn vouchers cannot exceed the total credits required for the programme minus credits for unfinished state examination parts

5. Initial Credit Vouchers

  • At enrollment, students receive 1.2 × the total credits required for graduation.
  • The Dean may assign additional credit vouchers based on specific principles.

6. Using Credit Vouchers

You draw credit vouchers in these cases:

  • Enrollment in Courses:
    • You draw vouchers equal to the credit value of the course.
    • For exams (e.g., comprehensive or state exams), vouchers are drawn only the first time the exam date is set.
  • Acknowledged Courses:
    • You draw vouchers 20% higher than the course’s credit value.
