Minor Specialization: Modern History of Economic Policy (5MH)
The Modern History of Economic Policy minor offers a unique interdisciplinary focus on the history of economic policies, economic history, and business history. By combining historical analysis with contemporary economic perspectives, this minor complements a student’s major and provides a deeper understanding of how historical events shape modern economic systems and policies.
Aims of the Minor
The program aims to equip students with the ability to:
- Critically analyze the historical roots of contemporary global challenges.
- Examine significant political events and economic processes from a historical perspective through case studies and discussions.
- Understand the economic, historical, and cultural development of the Czech lands.
